Descrição: These largely private black-and-white footage of Alfred Richter, a merchant in Dresden for fruit, vegetables and tropical fruits, also known as "Bananen-Richter," show scenes from family life with the children Annerose, Rosemarie, Alfred Jr. and Hannelotte in the period from 1933 to 1935. They also document trips by the Richters to Predigtstuhl, Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein and to Lake Constance. The film also provides insight into the Carl Emil Richter company, referring to business relations with the Fyffes company, from which Richters purchased bananas as one of the first German licensed importers. Alfred Richter presumably commissioned the Photo-Sasse company for the shots in the wholesale market hall in Dresden.
